Pensive. Beautiful. Sincere. Those are three words we’d use to describe Jake Quickenden’s brilliant new single ‘When You Kissed Him’.
Never one to shy away from showing his emotions, Jake has penned a touching track which questions whether a former lover is having the same difficulties moving on after a relationship. He co-wrote the song with James Birt and Christopher Swan.
With earnest lyrics written from the heart and stunning vocals filled with passion and pain, ‘When You Kissed Him’ is sure to resonate with listeners all over the world. Jake pours his heart out.
‘When You Kissed Him’ is available here on all digital media platforms and we’re happy to say that it’s rightfully storming up the iTunes chart. The relatable song follows Jake’s previous single ‘Black Mirror‘ and it joins his already incredible discography.
Attentive listeners may notice that Jake references Peter Pan in his new single. After playing the title character at Blackpool’s Opera House last year, the handsome singer refers to himself as a lost boy who cannot fly which is a clever and fitting tribute.
Jake has recently been performing alongside The Dreamboys at selected shows and he will be returning to stage for panto next week. The Scunthorpe-born star will be starring as Prince Charming in The Kings Theatre’s production of Cinderella in Portsmouth.
With another fantastic song under his belt and a determination to succeed in everything he does, Jake continues to be a great role model. He has lots of exciting projects lined up and is currently working on his first book. Be sure to follow @JakeQuickenden on Twitter to see his latest updates.
