James Arthur has delighted his loyal fans by announcing a trio of upcoming tour dates on his Twitter account. These dates will follow his new album which was recently brought forward to be released on 28th October.
The journey to stardom hasn’t been an easy one for the singer, but it seems that he is finally finding his footing as an artist and we couldn’t be more excited for him.
James Arthur first rose to fame when he won the ninth series of the UK’s, “The X Factor,” back in 2012 with his stunning cover of Shontelle’s 2010 hit, “Impossible.” He was then signed to Simon Cowell’s record label called Syco but was later dropped after some disputes with fellow artists. He stayed out of the limelight for a few years before scoring a new record deal and he has recently earned himself the reputation of the total comeback kid with his latest single, “Say You Won’t Let Go.”
The single has hit the UK hard, and Arthur has already claimed the number one spot with it after he managed to knock the seemingly unbeatable, “Closer,” by The Chainsmokers and Halsey off of the top spot.
Hot on the heels of his single is his new album which will be called, “Back From The Edge,” which will be taken out onto the road when the singer tours the UK in December. He revealed the news on his Twitter account in a post which showed where he would be heading to perform.
