    James Blunt returns with heartfelt new album ‘Who We Used To Be’

    James Blunt makes his long awaited return to the international music scene this week with the release of his brand new album ‘Who We Used To Be’.

    Serving as the follow up to 2019’s ‘Once Upon A Mind’, the 10-track collection features the singles ‘Beside You’, ‘All The Long That I Ever Needed’, and ’The Girl That Never Was’, as well as the standout track ‘Dark Thought’ dedicated to the late, great Carrie Fisher.

    Featuring contributions from acclaimed producers including Jonny Coffer (Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus), Red Triangle (Louis Tomlinson, Lukas Graham), Jack & Coke (Tove Lo, Charli XCX) and Steve Robson (Olly Murs, 5 Seconds of Summer), the deeply personal record finds James take stock of this life and career thus far, exploring themes of ageing, grief, loss and the passing of time.

    Over his two-decades in music, James Blunt has sold over 24 million record worldwide and has won two Brit Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards and received five GRAMMY nominations. 

    His 2004 debut album ‘Back to Bedlam’ was named as one of the Top 10 best selling albums of that decade. Feating the singles ‘High’, ’Goodbye My Lover’, ‘Wiseman’, and the 4x Platinum, 3x GRAMMY-nominated No.1 hit ‘You’re Beautiful’, to date the record has sold 3.3 million copies in the world and over 12 million copies worldwide.
