Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter, Maddie Aldridge has been badly injured after an ATV accident on Sunday.
The 8-year-old was underwater for several minutes and unconscious when an off-road vehicle she was riding had flipped over into a pond in Kentwood, Louisiana. According to the sheriff’s statement, family members immediately jumped in and attempted to free Aldridge from her seatbelt and the ATV’s safety net; however, were unsuccessful. Acadian Ambulance Services soon arrived and rescued the child from the water. Aldridge was then airlifted to a nearby hospital where she reportedly remains in critical but stable condition.
“Can everyone please stop and pray for Jamie Lynn Spears and her daughter Maddie right now. She was in a serious ATV accident. It’s serious. Please. Pray. Omg. Please be okay baby girl. I feel sick,” publicist Jaime Primak Sullivan wrote on her Facebook page. “I worked with the family for years. I’m shaking. I can’t imagine. I just can’t. She has to be okay,” Sullivan added.
“All I can say is pray for our baby Maddie,” The former Zoey 101 star’s dad, Jamie Spears told Entertainment Tonight.
Jamie Lynn’s big sister Britney took to Twitter on Monday afternoon asking for “all the wishes and prayers.”
