Janet Jackson has shared the first photograph of her four-month-old son Eissa.

Posting the image on Twitter and Instagram last night, Janet is seen holding her baby, gently kissing his head.

14-week-old Eissa wrapped up in a black blanket yawns as the photo is taken.

Alongside the photo, Janet wrote “My baby and me after nap time.”

Eissa is Jackson’s first child with husband Wissam Al Mana, a Qatari businessman.

According to PEOPLE Magazine, the couple, who married in 2012, have split since their son’s birth, though neither Jackson or Al Mana have commented publicly on the matter.

Despite the rumours, Wissam posted a touching love note to Janet his personal website on Friday, April 14th.

Alongside a photo of Jackson, Al Mana wrote:

“To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend. I love you so much, inshallah we will be together in the Great Forever x.”

Last April Janet announced she would be postponing her ‘Unbreakable World Tour’ because she and Mr Al Mana were “planning our family”.

The tour in support in Janet’s 11th studio album of the same name, was set to visit North America, Canada, Japan and Central Europe.

Speaking at the time Jackson said “Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders.”

“But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
