16-year-old pop singer Jena Rose has released her brand new single ‘Lost At Sea’. The talented rising teen star wrote the original track and it is dedicated to her late grandmother, and honours her gran’s memory by using her painting for the official single artwork.
Speaking about how she poured herself into creating her new single, Jena Rose says: “I wrote this [song] for anyone who is feeling lost and feels like the world is not on their side. It’s important to remember there’s always someone by your side – family, friends, teachers… Everyone feels this way sometimes and I know that my family was lost when my grandmother passed away. That is why I want to dedicate this song to my late grandmother by using one of her paintings as the artwork for it”. ?
Rose has spent most of this year touring America, and recently wrapped the ‘Taking You’ tour with pop group Why Don’t We, and the High School Nation tour with Plain White T’s. The super busy teenager will also be hitting the road this summer with S-Curve recording act AJR, whose hit single ‘Weak’ was recently certified Gold by RIAA. This follows a performance alongside Hollywood Records recording artist and Disney star Sabrina Carpenter on ‘The De-Tour’ in Jena’s hometown of Dallas, TX.
2017 has also seen Jena Rose return to her songwriting roots, and has seen her working one-to-one in the studio on new music with Grammy nominated writer and producer Drusik, who has worked with huge names including Tori Kelly, and Zendaya.
