Jennifer Lopez to take stage in Dominican Republic for the first time

Jenny from the block is making her way to the Caribbean country for a first-time performance Saturday evening.

Though the superstar has toured the world for many years, Lopez announced last month that she was gearing up for her debut Dominican Republic show. The show will take place at Altos de Chavon Amphitheater located in the vicinity of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in La Romana.

“Hi lovers! I am so excited to have you join me at my first concert ever in your beautiful country,” she said on the venue’s Instagram page. “It’s going to be an unforgettable night.”

The 47-year-old has been documenting the momentous trip on her own socials.

“Republica Dominicana?!!!! #3diasmas @casadecampodr @altosdechavondr @officialbe @gamalhache #waitingfortonight #BTS,” she captioned a clip of rehearsals before sharing her arrival at La Romana International Airport. Alongside Lopez are her children, twins Max and Emme.

Rehearsal footage revealed Marc Anthony is speculated to make an appearance as well. The amicable exes were spotted singing their song  “Olvídame y Pega La Vuelta” while Lopez promotes her Spanish language album.

The Dominican Republic is homeland of Lopez’s current boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. The former New York Yankee is also rumored to be in attendance. Rodriguez represented the country back in 2006 during baseball’s first World Classic.

Lopez will soon return to Las Vegas, resuming Jennifer Lopez: All I Have at her Planet Hollywood residency.
