Jensen and Danneel Ackles are expecting twins!

We all love a baby announcement so who can contain the excitement knowing that the Ackles family is about to get bigger – with two new arrivals!

This huge announcement has been confirmed by a rep for the couple, who tied the knot in 2010. They shared that the couple are expecting twins and will be welcoming both a son and a daughter – both of which will be joining 3-year-old big sister Justice “JJ” Jay.

Danneel Harris, 37, is both an actress and model and is best known for her roles as Shannon McBain on One Life to Live and also as Rachel Gatina in One Tree Hill, whereas her husband is easily best known for his role as Dean Winchester in CW’s Supernatural, which was renewed for yet another season, making its way up to season 11. He stars alongside Jared Padalecki.

Both actors took to Twitter to share their excitement of their upcoming arrival with Jensen tweeting, “Well, I guess the world is out” and attaching an article posted on People.com. Danneel also shared the news with social media by a tweet and adorable corresponding Instagram post.

This new addition will add even more members to the extended Supernatural family as Ackles’ co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins both have two children.

With Jensen starting an Instagram account in 2015, taking to Twitter to explain that it was “in an effort 2 squash some posers,” we hope that he will take this opportunity to share some adorable pictures as soon as the Ackles twins make an appearance later in the year!
