Marvel fans have been enjoying spin off shows for various characters from the big screens lately. Particularly Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and also Agent Carter which is inspired by the Captain America films and had Hayley Atwell reprise her role as Peggy Carter which fans have loved.
Not only that, fans are probably also currently working their way through Daredevil season 2 which has just seen the Punisher and Elektra being introduced to the TV side of the Marvel Universe. There hasn’t been many crossovers between the small screen and the big screen of Marvel but apparently there is one Avenger who is up for his own miniseries on Netflix!
That’s right, Hawkeye himself wants his own show! Speaking at his panel at Silicon Valley Comic Con (via ComicBook.com), Jeremy Renner was questioned on whether he would like to star in his own miniseries on Netflix as his character, Hawkeye. He seemed pretty enthusiastic about it “I think that’s actually a great model. If there’s ever a way to explore the character, maybe it’s in that world. These are things that are really not in my control, but I’d be open to it. I’ve really enjoyed getting to explore the character more recently. The Netflix model is where all the character drama goes to now, you’re doing a superhero movie or a Netflix or HBO kind of model. So I’d be open to it. Not up to me, though.”
