G.I. Joe went public last night! Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid made their first ever red carpet appearance as a couple, at the Global Lyme Alliance inaugural gala in New York City, Thursday evening.

Joe, 26, is currently promoting his new music venture, DNCE, but chose to stay silent on the red carpet stating he was respecting girlfriend Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Foster, who was being honored that evening for her work with Lyme Disease. Foster had previously shared “I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can’t process information or any stimulation for that matter” due to her illness. It was discovered at the event in a speech given by Foster that her two youngest children, Bella and Anwar, too had been diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2012.

We love that Jonas and Hadid made their first appearance be extremely meaningful. We would also like to wish the Foster/Hadid family, the best always.
