John Adams has exclusively premiered the music video for his new single ‘Dandelion Wishes’ through CelebMix.
The Welsh singer-songwriter released ‘Dandelion Wishes’ last week, which reached number 18 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts on the same day. It later peaked at number 14, which is incredible for an unsigned artist!

Today, John has shared with us the video for ‘Dandelion Wishes’ and it’s a perfect fit to a beautiful song. The emotional visuals combined with John’s haunting vocals will leave you feeling more than a bit teary-eyed. Talking about the inspiration behind ‘Dandelion Wishes’, John said: “The song is written about my fiancée and how life would be if we’d never met. I have no doubt I would be a different person and living a completely different life. It blew my mind when I gave it some thought so the song was really easy to write.”
John first came to our attention when he appeared on The X Factor in 2011. His rendition of ‘Cannonball’ led to a surge of downloads of the original Damien Rice track, later making chart history as the first time a song has re-entered at a higher position than its original release. Since then, John has been busking and gigging around the UK, steadily gaining a dedicated fan base. In 2014, he released his album The Pavement is My Stage, which reached number 7 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts.
We’re so excited to exclusively premiere John’s video today, so without further ado, check out the moving video for ‘Dandelion Wishes’ below!
