R&B singer John Legend brings Christmas a bit early this year by releasing his first Christmas album, ‘A Legendary Christmas.’
On October 26th, the actor/singer released his first ever Christmas album and we must admit, it’s a little weird listening to Christmas music before Halloween, but the album is just so good! It’s good to know that the holiday season is right around the corner.
Legend puts his own sound on iconic Christmas songs such as Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Silver Bells, and Please Be Home For Christmas along with some new Christmas songs such as No Place Like Home and Purple Snowflakes.
Most of the Christmas songs on the album have R&B and jazzy vibes using instruments such as the saxophone, tambourine, trumpets, drums, and of course, the piano.
In 2011, John Legend, accompanied by Mariah Carey, put out a Christmas single called When Christmas Music.
Along with the album, we got official photos from the album that includes John and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and his two children, Luna and Miles. So cute! Chrissy took to Twitter to let people know that it’s Christmas time!

Along with releasing the album, John is also touring this holiday season! Be sure to check if he’s coming to a city near you. The tour starts late November and goes till late December.
