Pop prodigy Johnny Orlando will bring The Ride World Tour to the UK in February after acclaimed shows in Asia, the United States and Canada.
The 20-year-old has turned from rising star to artist in his own right over the last few years and will headline the prestigious O2 Academy Islington in London on February 28, with a first wave of tickets already selling out and seeing the star upgrade in venue.
Orlando has been a presence online ever since starting to share covers at the age of eight but has earmarked himself as one of the industry’s most exciting voices in recent releases. The It’s Never Really Over EP was followed by the head-turning debut record all the things that could go wrong last year and now the singer is working on The Ride project.
Lending its name to the tour, parts one and two of The Ride dropped this year with the final instalment of tracks set for release next week.
The pop star’s live shows this year have included the best moments from those projects, as well as a handful of covers and unreleased songs. Viral ditty ‘What If (I Told You I Like You)’ also remains a fan favourite thanks to its TikTok success.
As well as stopping off in London in February, the star will visit Oslo, Warsaw, Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam and Dublin next year on the European leg of The Ride world tour.
