As Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam have been enjoying their hiatus; the band members who worked hard alongside them for the last few years have been able to enjoy a break of their own. We recently interviewed Dan Richards about his music project, Tux Bolo. Sandy Beales took to social media to announce that he and his wife are expecting (Congrats!) and now Josh Devine has made an announcement of his own.
However, not before teasing fans and making them wonder what he would be saying for a whole two hours!

Josh has been creating, traveling, doing charity work, and relaxing over the first year of One Direction’s hiatus. With the mix of his talent on stage and while recording as well as his kindness and charitable heart – Josh is an all-around great guy and it comes as no surprise that his options for things to get involved with during his time off the road have been endless.
Josh didn’t just wait for an opportunity to arise; he made one happen for himself and two pals as he announced today that he’s been working hard all year on his new band!

Evaride is composed of Josh Devine, Sean Michael Murray, and Hayden Maringer and their Twitter says they’re a pop/rock band with new music on the way soon! We’ve already followed Evaride on social media and can’t wait to hear their debut song.
Some people genuinely thought that this hiatus would do nothing but prove how little was there to truly keep everyone involved with One Direction together, but it’s done the opposite. It’s allowed them to focus on their own passions and strengths as individuals, given fans new things to look forward to as the months progress, and allowed them to work on material that will enhance their sound and music library when they get back together later on.
We can’t wait to see what’s in store for Josh on this new journey and we’ll be supportive as it unfolds. Congratulations Josh, you deserve it! We’re sure Evaride will blow us all away.
