Justin Bieber proposed to Hailey Baldwin!
The 24 year old singer and 21 year old model got engaged on Saturday evening in the Bahamas during dinner at a local restaurant according to TMZ, which was the first to report the news.
“It’s kind of a surprise, but kind of not. Justin has been extremely happy these past few weeks,” a source told PEOPLE, “he has known Hailey for a long time. This might seem sudden, but they know each other very well.”
Hailey’s actor dad, Stephen Baldwin, congratulated his daughter and her new fiancé on twitter, writing “Sweet smile on my face! me&wife (Kennya) Always pray 4 Gods will !! He is moving in the hearts of JB&HB Let’s all pray for His will to be done Love you 2 so much !!! #Godstiming #bestisyettocome Congrats @JeremyBieber @pattiemallette #PraiseJesus.”
Jeremy Bieber also posted a photo on Instagram saying “@justinbieber Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!”
Bieber and Baldwin started dating a few weeks ago and recently have showed off their romance in the Big Apple. Last weekend, they were seen locking lips during a stroll through a local Brooklyn garden after grabbing lunch at DUMBO House.
The two recently dated before they split in 2016. After ending their relationship back then, “we went through a long period of time when we weren’t friends,” Baldwin recently told U.K. newspaper The Times.
