Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Michael Bublé, Bryan Adams, Shawn Hook, And More Canadian Artists Collaborate For ArtistsCAN Charity Single “Lean On Me”

It isn’t the first, and we’re pretty sure it won’t be the last, a lot of artists have been coming together recently for charity singles and some famous Canadian artists have done just that with the likes of Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Michael Bublé, and many more for ArtistsCAN charity single cover of Bill Withers’ song “Lean On Me”.

It has been a month since Bill Withers has passed away, making this cover version even more special. All proceeds of this single will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross to help fight COVID-19 in Canada. 100% of the money will go to charity.

Before the video fully starts we have an introduction from Tyler Shaw and Fefe Dobson, who say: “We’ve teamed up to launch ArtistsCAN, an assembly of Canada’s diverse musical talents to celebrate the musical legacy of the late Bill Withers and to raise donations for the Canadian Red Cross and their COVID-19 initiatives in this time of need. We both felt compelled to share the lyrical message of this song with our country and the world.”

Justin Bieber kick-starts the song with Michael Bublé following and then Bryan Adams. The song carries on with plenty of well-known and established stars in the line-up including Avril Lavigne, Shawn Hook, Geddy Lee, Josh Ramsey, Walk Off The Earth, and many more.

The video ends with a message from the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, who says: “We’re going to get through this together, by leaning on each other and protecting our frontline workers … Stay home. Stay safe.”
