Thanks to Diplo, we already knew a Justin Bieber and Major Lazer collaboration was in the works, but now it seems that none less than Ed Sheeran is included in the new song as well. It’s not the first time Ed Sheeran, who’s currently on hiatus, and Bieber have worked together, with Ed Sheeran having co-written Bieber’s hit single ‘Love Yourself’.
Apart from Ed Sheeran and Major Lazer, the Biebs also tagged songwriter and producer Benny Blanco in his tweet. Like Sheeran, Blanco has co-written on Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ and is responsible for some of the biggest hits of the decade, including Ed Sheeran’s ‘Don’t’, Maroon 5’s ‘Moves Like Jagger’ and Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’.

The new track – which we assume to be called ‘Cold Water’ – will be released sometime this month, but no actual release date has been confirmed.
