It’s finally here!
Directed by Mark Romanek, the vibrant setting of the video is silhouetted with Timberlake’s dressing who is completely decked in white. Quite similar to the video for Pharrell Williams’ song “Happy”, the singer can be seen moving places, singing and dancing along the track.
To capture life within mundanity, different places like the Laundromat, grocery shop, restaurant, and doughnut bakery are chosen where a waitress, a mechanic, a salesman and an office goer can be seen shaking a leg. By the end of the video, everyone comes together. The video definitely has the happiness vibes and we could not for a second resist grooving and dancing our heart out.
Timberlake initially released a “Can’t Stop the Feeling” video that featured his Trolls cast mates – Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Ron Funches, Kunal Nayyar and Icona Pop – dancing along to the new single. Later, he debuted the song at Eurovision.
As reported by the Rolling Stone,
“Timberlake executive produced, voiced a character and contributed several songs to the Trolls soundtrack, which arrives September 23rd, the same day as the animated film. The soundtrack also boasts Timberlake and actress Anna Kendrick’s acoustic cover of Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors,” which the duo debuted live during a footage screening at the Cannes Film Festival. Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani will also appear on the disc.”
