Last night (February 4), Justin Timberlake took to the Super Bowl LII stage to perform at the half-time show.
Kicking off with ‘Filthy’, taken from his new album Man of the Woods, Justin delivered some of his slick moves before making his grand entrance onto the field at U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis. Launching into ‘Rock Your Body’, Justin continued to show off his fancy footwork before delivering more hits including ‘Señorita’, ‘SexyBack’ and ‘Cry Me a River’.
During his 13 minute set, Justin paid tribute to Prince by performing ‘I Would Die 4 U’ on the piano. He sang along to Prince’s vocals whilst footage of the late star was projected behind him. The area around stadium was also lit up in purple in his honour.
Justin brought his set to an end with a rousing performance of ‘Mirrors’ before getting everyone on their feet for ‘Can’t Stop The Feeling’. The singer made his way into the crowd, even stopping for a selfie with a lucky audience member.
Whilst the crowd seemed to enjoy Justin’s energetic half-time performance, viewers at home were less enthused for a number of reasons, including the fact that Justin didn’t choose to reform *NSYNC for the night.
However, you can make up your own mind by reliving Justin’s Super Bowl LII half-time show below.
