Colombian-American singer and producer, Kali Uchis, has just announced a new single titled, ‘After The Storm’ and the artists which feature on the single are quite extraordinary. Uchis is kicking off 2018 with a brand new single, this time collaborating with none other than Tyler The Creator along with Bootsy Collins.
This will be her first single release since 2017’s ‘Nuestro Planeta’, which featured Reggaeton singer, Reykon. The announcement comes after high anticipation from fans and Uchis teasing fans of a new single via Instagram.

‘After The Storm’ is set to be released on Friday 12th January. The single will be released just a few days before Uchis embarks on Lana Del Rey’s ‘LA to the Moon Tour’ as an opening act on selected dates throughout North America starting from Monday 15th January.
This won’t be the first time Kali Uchis and Tyler The Creator have featured on a track together as previous collaborations include: “Perfect”, taken from Tyler The Creator’s 2015 album, ‘Cherry Boy’ and ‘See You Again’, from his 2017 album, ‘Flower Boy’. However, this will be the first collaboration between the two with Uchis as the lead artist on the single.

With the new single around the corner and an album in the works, the only thing missing seems to be promotion – not to worry, she has that covered, too. Kali Uchis is set to perform at the 2018 Coachella Music and Arts festival on Friday 13th & 20th April alongside the likes of SZA, The Weeknd and Daniel Caeser, to name a few.

We can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for Kali Uchis and with the Coachella festival soon approaching, will we have even more new material from Kali before it commences? We sure hope so!
