It’s fair to say that Kanye West is nothing short of being a perfectionist. Just days after sharing his album tracklist and deeming it complete, Kanye has decided to change the name of his album from Swish to Waves.
This is the third title change, with the album initially called So Help Me God, before changing to Swish. With a mere few weeks until the album drops, hopefully Kanye will stick to the new title of Waves, which is also an album track.
The rapper broke the name change news on Twitter.

He also shared a revised version of the tracklist, with an additional song and a handful of doodles, including our favourite scrawl, ‘Kim Never Left’.

It has also been announced that Kanye will debut the entire album on February 11th with a live performance at Madison Square Garden, which will also be screened at selected theatres.
There will be a lot of pressure on Kanye once the album is released, as he has once again dubbed it the ‘album of the life’.

He has already shared some songs from Waves through his G.O.O.D Fridays, and there’s just over a fortnight’s wait for the rest of his new material so we shall have to wait and see if it lives up to his claims.
Who knows, the album name and tracklist might have changed again by then!
