We still haven’t gotten over the release and re-release of songs from Kanye West’s Life of Pablo and the singer/rapper is here again with another treat. This time, it’s not about his album! Kanye West and Nas joined French Montana for “Figure It Out” video.
French Montana, after the video was released, announced that he has been officially signed with P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records. Diddy didn’t lose time and took to Twitter to join the celebration. “@CIROC toast to my bro @FrenchMontana!!” he tweeted Thursday. “Welcome to the #Badboy #Epic family!!! #FIGUREITOUT.” He’ll also perform at the Bad Boy Family Reunion shows at Barclays Center.
The news was reported by Entertainment Weekly.
On his website, Diddy praised French Montana as he called him “a proven hitmaker”. He said:
“When I first heard him, I knew he had that special Bad Boy sound and I believed in his potential,” he said. “He was on the fast track then, and now, to see how far he’s come, he’s a major force in hip-hop and a key member of the Bad Boy Family. Bad Boy is known for creating the biggest acts in hip-hop — and French is not only a part of our legacy but now also a part of our new chapter at Epic Records.”
When West and Nas join forces, you can only expect an explosion worth experiencing. Amidst airplanes and bike racers, you can see West and Nas joining Montana as they produce a wonderful song. Check out the video below and see for yourself:
