Katy Perry has scored her 17th No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Dance Club Chart.
Perry’s latest hit ‘Chained To The Rhythm’ climbs one place this week to claim the top spot.
Billboard reports that all 17 of Katy’s chart topping hits have led consecutively and she extends her record for the most No. 1s in a row on the list.
This means that Katy now passes Jennifer Lopez and Kristine W and ties Mariah Carey for the fifth-most No. 1 songs in the chart’s history.

‘Chained To The Rhythm’ acts as the lead single to be taken off of Katy’s upcoming fifth studio album.
Released back in February the song features vocals from Jamaican singer Skip Marley, the Grandson of the late, great Bob Marley.
Co-written by Katy herself along with Sia, and produced by Max Martin and Ali Payami, Perry described the song as being a “purposeful pop” record.
