In the last 24 hours, international pop superstar Katy Perry has teased details of her long-awaited musical comeback, by sharing the news she is to release brand new single “Woman’s World” next month.
Whilst little is known about the track – which is set to drop Thursday, July 11th at 7:00 PM ET/ 4:00 PM PT – it serves as the lead single from Perry’s as yet untitled sixth studio album which is expected to materialise before the end of the year.
The songs accompanying music video, directed by acclaimed British photographer Jack Bridgland, will premiere Friday, July 12th 2024.

The announcement of Perry’s new single comes following her final appearance as a judge on the twenty-second season of American Idol, after seven years on the panel.
Speaking to US talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel, the “Teenage Dream” singer said of her decision to leave the show: “I love Idol so much! It’s connected me with the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat.”
On Friday, September 20th Katy will headline the sold-out Rock in Rio in Brazil, marking her first performance at the Rio de Janeiro festival since 2015.
