Kendall Amon Shares “Falling In Love”, a Heartfelt Narration of Friends to Lovers

They say some of the best relationships flourish from friendship. There are so many remarkable movie love stories based around this idea such as When Harry Met Sally and Some Kind Of Wonderful. Kendall Amon understands this powerful type of connection and details that transition in her single “Falling In Love”.

With a bold piano-driven backdrop and passionate, velvety vocals this rosy tune provides all the feels. The track is the ideal declaration of love to captivate listeners. Amon admits, “ ‘Falling In Love’ is the first song I’ve written with a happy ending. Although I love a good romance book/movie, a lot of my songs are about the darker side of love. I wanted to challenge myself to write something that showed a more optimistic side. The song was inspired after bingeing Bridgerton during the pandemic. Rather than write from a personal experience on love, this one tells the evolution of a friendship that blossoms into a romantic relationship, a common trope in popular culture.”

Her lines like “everyone can see I laugh too loud at your dumb jokes” are so relatable and real. She also stunningly sings of the two of them kissing because the world could be ending soon. With everything that has transpired these last couple of years that statement really hits home. Life is short and her soaring track is all about making the most of the time we have. That includes allowing ourselves to give in to the magic of love.

The Los Angeles singer-songwriter is known for her emotive releases that strike a chord with fans. Having her tunes featured in the new Tubi film 10 Truths About Love, she is deemed the “voice” of the film. Amon continues to carve her place in the music scene. We look forward to seeing what’s next from the accomplished talent. Tweet @celebmix your thoughts!
