Things might have been rough for Kesha for almost two years now. But there’s no stopping to the brave of this graceful woman. She made a astounding appearance at the second day of Coachella 2016, filling the entire crowd with joy and thrilling energy.
It was Zedd who she joined to perform the EDM star’s song “True Colors”. It was her very first public performance in months.
Dressed in black, with a hat and rainbow hair, Kesha sang Zedd’s hit song. It’s clear in videos and photos posted on social media that the crowd admired seeing the singer back on stage.
According to some reports, Kesha did not have a direct word with the crowd during her performance. Rather, she had the lyrics do the talking as she sang, “I won’t apologize for the fire in my eyes / Let me show you my true colors.”
“..I have no master, and somehow it’s like I’ve waited all my life, one page at a time..”
It is not the first time that Zedd has supported Kesha. Back in February, Zedd had tweeted Kesha to show his support during her ongoing battle with Dr Luke and Sony:
@KeshaRose very very sorry to hear about the whole situation. I'll be happy to produce a song for you if you want my help.

After Saturday’s performance, the EDM star tweeted his gratitude to the crowd and to the singer:

We appreciate and support Kesha loads for her immense courage to carry on with her amazing musical career, and we also appreciate Zedd for being such a hope and supportive friend to Kesha. It is heartwarming to see that there are still virtues like strength and bravery standing strong in between such chaos of the music industry.
