Days after giving birth to her first child, Khloé Kardashian has shared her daughter’s name with the world.
Taking to social media, Khloé revealed that she has named her daughter True – how cute! Posting on Instagram, she said: “Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”
Khloé also used her website to reveal that her and her partner Tristan Thompson welcomed True into the world on April 12. The newborn weighed in at 6lbs 13oz, measuring 21 inches in length.
As expected, the name choice has proven to be an internet talking point. However, despite being rather unusual, it seems that there is a lovely sentiment at the heart of it all. Kris Jenner, Khloé’s mum and True’s grandmother, tweeted her excitement at welcoming another grandchild and also revealed that ‘True’ is a name which runs in the family.
Kris tweeted: “I’m so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter True!!! FUN FACT… my Grandfather’s name on my Dad’s side was True Otis Houghton….my real Dad’s name was Robert True Houghton…so I am so excited Khloé named her daughter True!!! #lovebug #familytradition #family.”
Khloé confirmed her pregnancy back in December 2017, which she called her “greatest dream realized”. It is no secret that the reality star has struggled to conceive in the past but we’re delighted that she has finally welcomed her beautiful bundle of joy into the world.
