American rapper, producer and actor Kid Cudi has announced details of his forthcoming album, Entergalactic.

The follow up to 2016’s Passion, Pain and Demon Slayin’ will serve as the soundtrack to Cudi’s upcoming adult animated Netflix series of the same name, which is to be made in collaboration with black-ish creator and Girls Trip writer Kenya Barris along with Ian Edelmen of How To Make It In America.

Whilst no further details of the album or the series have been revealed, Netflix teased in a press release that the show will “follow a young man on his journey to discover love.”

Clearly energised and excited by the upcoming project, which he will both write and star in, Kid Cudi himself tweeted earlier that fans can expected something they’ve “never experienced before” upon their joint release next year.

Entergalactic will be something you’ve never experienced. I promise it’ll be a fun ride. Lot of good friends involved. Great songs too! The cast is coming together. I know a year from now seems like forever but itll be here before u know it!

Although this will be Cudi’s first time collaborating with Netflix, it is not the first time audiences have seen the Day ‘n’ Nite rapper appear on the small screen following roles in HBO’s Entourage, How To Make It In America, Two Night Stand and Westworld.
