Kiera Weathers ain’t wasting no time now! The stunning singer has unveiled her brilliant new single ‘Talk To Me’ and she’s dropped an equally fantastic video for it!
The yearnful track, which was produced by TYFI, features an irresistible tropical beat and it’s Kiera’s very first original release. Lyrically, ‘Talk To Me’ speaks of uncertainty in a relationship. It was co-written by Kiera and The 1990 Club.
Directed by OLVR G, the official video intertwines beautiful scenic shots with clips of Kiera singing into the camera. The slick visuals compliment the song perfectly.
Speaking to us exclusively about her new single, Kiera Weathers said: “I would say that it’s a tropical pop song, that has an infectious beat, melody and chorus that you can’t get out of your head! The inspiration when writing this track came from a time frame that I went through in my relationship, of misunderstanding, frustration and fear of the unknown.”
She continued: “The location we filmed at was amazing. Shooting with our director Oliver was so much fun, I was fortunate to work with a director who let me express what I wanted in my mind to come off on camera and enhanced what I visualized and I can’t tell you how happy I am with this video. It was definitely the most fun, relaxed shoot I’ve done to date.”
‘Talk To Me’ is currently available here on iTunes and here on Spotify. The relatable track follows Kiera’s empowering debut single ‘You Gotta Be’ which has now been streamed more than 6 million times on Spotify since its release.
2017 has been an incredible year for Kiera Weathers and we’re sure that 2018 is going to bring her lots more success. The rising star is one of the industry’s finest young talents and we can’t wait to hear what other magic she’s been making in the studio. If ‘Talk To Me’ is anything to go by, we’re certainly in for a treat.
