Kiesza has announced that she’s teamed up with MAC Cosmetics for a makeup collection.
The singer, who recently made her musical comeback with ‘Dearly Beloved’, will be launching a four-piece collection, made up of a lipstick, lipgloss, eyeliner and eyebrow pencil.
“Makeup serves the same purpose as fashion to me,” says Kiesza. “It’s a form of expression that allows me to display externally, what I’m feeling beneath the surface. It’s like an extension of my personality. My face and body become the canvas as I turn myself into my own ever-changing works of art. As I wander through each day, the world is my gallery.”
After much experimenting and brainstorming, Kiesza and MAC settled on two neutral-toned lip products. ‘Dearly Beloved’ ($17) is a warm, soft brown matte lipstick, whilst ‘Thunder Kiss’ ($21) is a deep chocolate pigmented lipgloss. To round off the collection, there’s the Liquidlast Liner ($21) in ‘Point Black’ and the Big Brow pencil ($21) in ‘Cork’.
Speaking about the collection, Kiesza said that she loves an understated look, which can be intensified by thickening her eyeliner or by using a darker eyebrow pencil shade. “If I’m going to wear something every day I don’t want to change my face; I want to enhance my personality,” she said. “I love eyebrows and feel they frame your face giving your eyes a whole new look. When I thicken mine, my eyes look more intense which helps bring the whole look together,” she added.

Kiesza joins a long list of famous faces who have teamed up with MAC in the past. Artists including Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Ellie Goulding have all released their own MAC collections in recent years.
MAC X Kiesza will hit stores in February.
