In today’s world, people are more interested in visuals than ever before. They want to see every aspect of your life, from your morning routine to your deepest secrets. But rapper King Key is not here for it. In his latest EP, “Look At It,” he expresses his frustration with people who want to know too much about his personal life.
The EP, produced by Dallas’ Yung Bala On Da Beat, features four tracks that showcase King Key’s unique style and sound. The standout track, “DUHH,” features Texarkana artist T Kay Barbie and is a commentary on the culture of oversharing.
King Key starts the song with a bold statement: “I ain’t got to say what I does.. DUHH. You ain’t got to say what you love.. DUHH.” He goes on to explain that he and his crew work hard to earn their success, and they don’t feel the need to share every detail of their lives with the world.
The EP is a continuation of King Key’s rise to fame. The Austin, TX native has been making waves in the rap scene since the release of his project “GUN OUT,” which featured a guest appearance from Houston star Big Jade. The video for the title track went viral on Facebook, and King Key quickly gained a following on social media.
He followed up with a cover of Young Jeezy’s “Tear It Up” called “Thuggin,” which further solidified his place in the rap game. With “Look At It,” King Key continues to prove that he is a force to be reckoned with.
King Key’s message is clear: he is not here for the culture of oversharing. “Look At It” is a testament to his talent and his refusal to conform to the norms of social media. Fans can listen to the EP on all streaming platforms, or watch the video for “DUHH” on YouTube.
