Fresh from their storming set at this years Glastonbury Festival, Irish indie-folk wonderkids Kingfishr showcase a whole new side to their artistry with the release of their brand new single, ‘I Cried, I Wept’.
Lyrically inspired by the talented trios desire to start afresh, the punchy, and irrepressibly energetic track comes complete with rousing melodies, guitar-led hooks and introspective lyrics, that when combined, create the perfection addition to the groups rapidly growing, and impressive back catalogue.
Commenting on the vibrant track, the band say in a joint statement: “It represents the feeling of burying some piece of yourself in order for the rest of you to live on, and then wondering if that sacrifice will actually make a difference. If it doesn’t, then where are you?”
