Kym Marsh is holding a charity ball tonight at Manchester’s Hilton Hotel in memory of her late son Archie just before what would have been his 9th birthday.
The forty-one-year-old soap actress most famous for being a coronation street star lost her son, who’s father was Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas after going into labour prematurely at 21 weeks back in 2009.
Archie’s footprint ball l has been set up so that money can be raised in association with Mariposa a charity which supports those who have lost babies in order to help parents and families who have lost their children.
Starting at 7pm, Kym has promised an exciting night with fabulous entertainment, great food and lots of surprises for those who are attending.
Co-star Faye Brookes who plays Kate Connor on the soap and her partner singer Gareth Gates have been keen to get involved and support Kym by putting on a show with their drama school fates academy which will be performed this evening.
There are different packages for the tickets offering people the chance to buy either a bronze, silver or gold ticket for the ball.
The starting price for an individual ticket is £100 being part of the bronze package which includes drinks on arrival and a three-course meal.
Guests can expect to be in the same room as a number of stars including cast members from the soaps and reality TV stars.
There will be plenty of auctions and events throughout the night to help raise money for this cause. If you are unable to attend then donations can still be made to Mariposa.
We can’t wait to see how much money this event brings in for the charity. Good Luck Kym!
