Evocative English recording artist L DEVINE continues to explore some of life’s more unsettling emotions with the unveiling of her latest single, “If I Don’t Laugh I’ll Cry” – a compelling, and escapist, alt-pop bop that sees the young star open up about the moment she felt to be losing grip on reality.
Serving as the follow up to recent singles “Push It Down”, “Miscommunikaty”, “Laundry Day” and “Slippin Away”, the song arrives just weeks before the uber talented singer/songwriter releases her long-awaited debut album, ‘Digital Heartifacts’ on February 2nd.
Commenting on the brooding track – produced Julien Flew – L DEVINE says: “‘If I Don’t Laugh I’ll Cry’ is about the sweet spot between having a mental breakdown and total liberation. It’s a proper insight into my personality, I usually cope with my struggles and insecurities by finding humour in them.“

Following the release of ‘Digital Heartifacts’, DEVINE – who was recently crowned the winner of the GAY TIMES’ Elevate Emerging Star in Music Award further cementing her reputation as a vital new voice in the LGBTQ+ community – will embark upon a UK headline tour this April.
Scheduled to kick off in Glasgow on April 15th, the ‘Die On The Dancefloor’ singer will then visit Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, London and Birmingham, before wrapping up proceedings in Brighton on April 24th. Remaining tickets for all shows are available to purchase here.
