US Country Music trio Lady Antebellum consisting of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood are currently gearing up for the second leg of their hugely successful Las Vegas Residency at Palms Casino.
Their run of dates on the Vegas strip kicked off in February of this year and after heading to the UK in March to headline Country to Country (C2C) Festival, the Grammy award winning band will return to Las Vegas in May for the next run of residency dates.
Speaking to Billboard about their Vegas show on the ACM Awards red carpet, Lady Antebellum’s Charles said: Everything’s renovated there over at the Palms and it’s just an intimate crowd. We have the big moments, and the horns and all that, but then we really have an extended stripped down moment, that’s probably our favorite part of the show. And now this next run we’re about to do in May, we’ll have a new single coming out next month so we’ll be able to actually perform that for the first time at that residency. So I’m looking forward to that.”
During the ACM’s Lady Antebellum also confirmed that their brand new single will be titled ‘What If I Never Get Over You’. Fans who saw them live during C2C this year will already be familiar with the heartfelt, catchy guitar driven ballad.
Speaking about the single’s sound, Hillary Scott said: “I think the fans who have been with us from the very beginning, it will feel fresh but familiar. That kind of male and female perspective of longing and a heartbreak message and I think everybody will be able to listen to it and put their own story into it.”
