MTV have unveiled the nominations for this year’s Europe Music Awards (EMAs) – with Lady Gaga, BTS and Justin Bieber all leading the pack!

Lady Gaga has achieved a total of seven noms, which comes off her big success at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), in which she won five awards. She is up for Best Artist, as well as Best Video, Best Song and Best Collaboration for “Rain On Me” with Ariana Grande.

Not far behind are BTS, with the K-pop boyband picking up nods in the Best Song, Best Pop and Best Group categories.

Justin Bieber ties BTS’ count, and has been nominated for awards such as Best Artist, Best Pop and Best Collaboration.

The Biggest Fans award once again returns this year, with the coveted gong going to the most dedicated fanbase for a particular artist. Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, BTS, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift are all up against each other in this category, so it’s up to their passionate fans to make sure they cast their votes.

The all-new Video For Good category will also see the music video with the most powerful and prevalent message take the prize. Anderson .Paak, Demi Lovato and H.E.R. are just some of the artists who have been nommed for this award.

Another award to be presented for the first time this year is Best Virtual Live, which recognises some of the most popular virtual concerts to have taken place this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
