Lady Gaga has finally announced the release of her next single, and it’s going to be called “Perfect Illusion”! It’s been three years since Gaga’s fourth album ARTPOP was released, and fans (or as they like to be called, Little Monsters) have been impatiently awaiting the return of Lady Gaga to the pop music scene for months!
From seeing Gaga on American Horror Story, to seeing her announce that she will star alongside Bradley Cooper in a remake of A Star Is Born, fans have been practically begging Gaga to announce the new single off her untitled fifth studio album, which fans have been affectionately referring to as “LG5”.
But the wait is finally over! Gaga told her fans the wonderful news via tweet, and here is the glorious tweet for you to view yourself!

The only issue is that now, despite all the months of waiting, we’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the single, since it doesn’t come out until September, and this is how we’re feeling right now:
All we know about the song so far is that it’s a dance track, which Gaga has proven to be superb at, with her previous bangers “Bad Romance”, “Applause”, “Just Dance”, “Poker Face” and many, many others.
We’re very much looking forward to the dawn of a new era in Lady Gaga music, it’s going to be very interesting to see how she goes about this album and how it will sound compared to her previous works. I guess all we can do is wait and find out, and we’re pretty excited!
