The 61st Annual Grammy Awards are this Sunday and will celebrate the music releases and achievements of the past year. This week, the Recording Academy announced that none other than Lady Gaga will be performing!
This is the fifth year in a row that the singer and actress will be performing at the ceremony – and seventh time overall. Over the years, Gaga has given us some fantastic performances, such as a memorable tribute to the late David Bowie in 2016, and a beautiful piano medley of ‘Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?)’ and ‘Million Reasons’ in 2018.
This year, Gaga will be joined by Mark Ronson, and she is expected to perform the number 1 hit ‘Shallow’ from her movie ‘A Star Is Born’. ‘Shallow’ is nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. and Best Song Written for Visual Media. Gaga also has a nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance with ‘Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?)’.
Gaga will also perform ‘Shallow’ with Bradley Cooper at the 91st Academy Awards (Oscars), where ‘A Star Is Born’ is up for eight nominations, including Best Picture and Best Original Song for ‘Shallow’.
Alongside Gaga, Cardi B, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Post Malone and more will also be taking to the stage at the Grammy’s this weekend.
The 61st Annual Grammy Awards will air this Sunday on CBS, with Alicia Keys as host.
