Lana Del Rey has unveiled the artwork for her new album ‘Lust For Life’.

The cover sees the ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer smiling, posing in front of an old American style pick-up truck.

Wearing a bohemian style white lace top, with large daisy’s in her hair, Del Rey seems to channeling fashion straight from the 1960’s… could this be an indication as to what sound fans can expect to hear on the record?

Little is known about Lust For Life, Lana’s first album since 2015’s Honeymoon, except for an album trailer Del Rey released in March.

In the surreal clip, Lana is seen living inside the ‘H’ of the iconic Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles.

Delivering a monologue outlining the importance of artists having their own space to create and debating what her contribution to the world should be, Lana ends the trailer by saying:

“There’s no place I’d rather be than smack dab in the middle of Hollyweird making this record for you.”

“Because you and the music, and this place are my love.”

Lust For Life’s lead single ‘Love’, released in February, received rave reviews from critics and gave fans their first glimpse of the old Hollywood glamour style Lana seems to be conveying this era.

Watch the video for ‘Love’ below:

Speaking to Jo Whiley ahead of the albums release, Lana said her new project would be “more socially aware” than her previous work.

“I started out thinking that the whole record was gonna have a sort of a ’50s-’60s feeling, kind of some kind of Shangri-Las, early Joan Baez influences.”

“But I don’t know, as the climate kept on getting more heated politically, I found lyrically everything was just directed towards that.”

“So because of that, the sound just got really updated, and I felt like it was more wanting to talk to the younger side of the audience that I have.”

As yet there is no confirmed release date for the album.
