Laura Whitmore has become the latest celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing.
Despite impressing the judges with her samba on last nights show, Whitmore found herself in the bottom two with television presenter Ore Oduba.
On Saturday nights show, Laura was awarded 32 points and received positive feedback from the Strictly panel.
Head judge Len Goodman said the choreography was “terrific” and that Whitmore was a “star”.
Bruno Tonioli was full of praise for Laura and her partner Giovanni Pernice.
“For me you two were samba’s VIP. You put everything into it.”
However, Craig Revel Horwood was less enthusiastic and felt that parts of the performance were “awkward”.
“Some steps suited and some didn’t. I thought you did a really good job.” Horwood told the MTV presenter.
Despite placing 7th on the leaderboard, it wasn’t enough to keep Laura out of the dance off.
After performing against Oduba, it came down to the judges to decide Whitmore’s fate.
All 4 judges decided to save Ore meaning Laura left the competition.
Laura didn’t have much time to dwell on her Strictly heartbreak, as she hit the red carpet at the MTV European Music Awards in Rotterdam tonight, where she is hosting the pre-show with Sway Calloway.
