Scream Queens actress Lea Michele has surprised her fans by announcing three concert dates.
The 30-year-old star has been working on her second studio album for the past three years and is planning on sharing her new music at the end of this month. Michele will be performing three intimate shows in Los Angeles and New York where she will be singing songs from her new album.

“I really made sure that this album was all about my voice,” Michele said in December. “It was inspired by a lot of the women I grew up loving and listening to, like Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion, so I think it just really is a good representation of who I am and where I am in my life right now, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Michele also revealed that her second album will be “more positive.” “I think my last album was depressing enough,” the singer said. “With this one, we got more positivity here for sure. But there are those songs. I mean, definitely be careful when you’re dating a singer who writes music!”
Her 2014 album ‘Louder’ debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 chart, although it received mixed reviews from critics. In 2015, Michele said that she was frustrated by the results of her work on the album because of differing visions between the album’s producers and herself. “The problem with the first record was that I would record a song, and then I would get it back from production and it would sound very different,” Michele told Marie Claire. “As an artist, that can be jarring. That’s why I’m more hands-on on this.”
