Country music megastar LeAnn Rimes has today (November 8th) announced details of a special UK show at The O2 Arena in London next spring.
Marking the singers first gig on British soil in six years, as well as the end of her super successful The Story… So Far Tour, the one night only event will take place on Wednesday, May 8th 2024.
Tickets go on general sale this coming Friday (November 10th) at 10am. O2’s pre-sale starts at 10am on November 8th, and the TEG pre-sale at 9am on November 9th.
Commenting on the show, the “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” singer says via a press release: “Performing at London’s O2 Arena is the stuff of dreams, I’m so excited!! I love the UK and can’t wait to make my return and reunite with all my fans. Come and join me for one special night!”
Alongside the announcement, LeAnn gifts fans with an early Christmas present in the form of an extended edition of her latest album, “god’s work”.
Launched back in September 2022, and featuring the singles “Throw My Arms Around the World”, “I Do”, “How Much a Heart Can Bold”, “Spaceship”, and “Innocent”, the 12-track record co-produced with longtime collaborator Darrell Brown, features collaborations with Ziggy Marley, Mickey Guyton, Aloe Blacc, Ben Harper, Robert Randolph, and Sheila E..
Discussing on the project at the time of its release, Rimes said: “For me, ‘god’s work’ was all about a journey of reclamation, where humanity meets spirit.”
