Leonardo di Caprio has been closely involved with environmental concerns and leaves no stones unturned in trying to contribute in making the world a better place to live in.To adopt what he supports, he has solar panels installed at his home. He also owns an electric Tesla roadster and a Fisher Karma plug-in hybrid.

He has also been chosen as the climate change Representative for the United States on September 16th 2014. His donation of a million dollars as well as his presence in Russia’s Tiger Summit in 2010, despite two flight delays, only proves his deep concern about the environment.
Taking help of the social media, Leonardo di Caprio has managed to make people aware of the environmental problems throughout the globe and the urgent need to attend to them. Whether it be oil spills, or global warming effects, he pays equal attention to different kinds of environmental dangers.
