Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole have decided to call it quits after 2 years of dating.
On July 1st, Liam took to Twitter posting a tweet saying that they still have so much love for each other and that they ask for the privacy of their son, Bear.
“Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way though this together.” he wrote in the tweet.

Cheryl also tweeted confirming the break-up.

Liam and Cheryl first met when Liam auditioned for the X-Factor in 2008. Cheryl was one of the celebrity judges. he failed to get a place in the live shows at the Judges houses stage, he returned in 2010 to audition for the second time and eventually was put with One Direction. In 2016, Cheryl and Liam made an appearance at an event, showing off her baby bump confirming she was pregnant.

On March 22nd, 2017, they welcomed their son, Bear. Cheryl posted a picture on Instagram of Liam holding his son.

Throughout Liam’s experiences entering fatherhood, both him and Cheryl have posted very few pictures of Bear. The couple has chosen to keep Bear private from the public.
