More great news for Liam Payne’s American fans! Payne has signed a new deal with Republic Records in conjunction with his U.K. Capitol records. Liam has perviously announced his initial record deal over the summer and has been in the studio working on his solo debut.
He is now joining the likes of The Weekend, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Ariana Grande. CEO of Republic Records Monte Lipman released a statement praising Payne.
“Being a member of the most successful group of the last decade, Liam has a tremendous opportunity to make an even greater impact on pop culture. We’re honored by Liam’s decision to join Republic Records, and have extremely high expectations for his solo career.”
Liam’s manger, Simon Oliveira agreed with Lipman’s sentiments. “I am more then confident we have assembled the best possible team alongside Capitol’s UK label to launch and shperd Liam’s solo career.”
