Rumours are circulating that Lil Wayne is quitting music.
The rapper took to Twitter early this morning (September 3rd) to tell fans he was ‘defeated’ and ‘dun’.

Wayne followed this tweet with another message seemingly related to his retirement announcement.

It’s been a tough time for Lil Wayne, who earlier this year suffered multiple seizures whilst on a cross-country flight, forcing his private plane to make an emergency landing.
The rappers very public feud with Birdman and Cash Money Records over the release of his 11th studio album, Carter V, has some fans speculating this could be the reason behind Wayne’s decision to take a step back from his music career.
A few hours after his controversial tweets, Lil Wayne took to Twitter again to reassure fans they had nothing to worry about.
