Following his run on Hamilton and his new film Moana, Lin-Manuel Miranda seems to be taking everything by storm – and he’s now taking over Comedy Central.
Comedy Central’s Drunk History is pretty much described in the title — people retell historic stories while intoxicated. Of course, the show is definitely one heck of a laugh! With all historic topics up for grabs, the show has managed to create a unique, hilarious way in which the audience can both laugh and learn.
And now, it appears that it’s Lin’s chance to tackle his historical forte – Alexander Hamilton – while intoxicated. The episode, which was filmed during Super Bowl Sunday, is set to air November 29th on Comedy Central. With Lin and Comedy Central constantly tweeting about the episode, it is definitely one of the most anticipated.
2) We filmed my segment @drunkhistory on Superbowl Sunday. I did not see the Superbowl this year.

A new clip was released where we see Miranda explaining the time that Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton first meet at college. We also get a glimpse into how both men are then thrown into the Revolutionary War. The clip, which includes loads of Lin’s own sound effects, definitely amps up the amount of buzz around the episode. Watch the clip here.
Considering Lin himself tweeted about being extremely drunk, we’re pretty sure the episode is one of the show’s funniest yet.
3) I drank 3/4 of a bottle of honey whiskey as I narrated.

We wouldn’t be surprised if this episode of Drunk History became one of the most popular ones around – especially when we remember that Lin happens to be an expert at everything he does.
Alia Shawkat is playing Alexander Hamilton and Aubrey Plaza is playing Aaron Burr. We’re pretty sure this episode is going to be revolutionary (no pun intended), especially when we remember how funny they are. Dave Grohl, David Wain, and Tony Hale are also set to appear in the episode. Make sure to watch other episodes of Drunk History – they’re all hilariously entertaining and very informative.
Tune in on November 29th, to watch Lin-Manuel Miranda retell the history of Alexander Hamilton – complete with sound effects.
