Little Mix are off to an amazing start for 2016! It was announced yesterday that their album Get Weird is their biggest selling album to date! According to the UK Official Charts, Little Mix have accumulated over 405,000 sales since the release of Get Weird on November 6, 2015.Last week, it was announced that Get Weird was officially certified platinum in the UK in just 7 weeks, which makes it the fastest album of theirs to do so! The album has been killing the charts since it’s release in November. According to BPI, “Little Mix had racked up the sales as their 3rd album ‘Get Weird’ received a Silver certification just one week after its release, just missing the Number 1 spot on the Official Albums Charts. The album’s lead single ‘Black Magic’ also featured in this week’s BPI Awards, going Platinum – making it their highest certified single.”

Their number 1 single from Get Weird, “Black Magic,” went platinum only a week after the release of Get Weird. It had more than 680,000 sales, making them the first UK girl group to achieve a platinum selling single since “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)” by A. R. Rahman and The Pussycat Dolls in 2009.

Little Mix will be going on tour in March 2016! You can buy tickets here. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below or you can tweet us at @CelebMix!
