The ladies of Little Mix took some well-deserved time off recently from their gruelling schedule. Perrie went home to see her family, Jade and Jesy made up for lost time with their partners and Leigh Anne partied like there was no tomorrow in Las Vegas. However, they are now back fighting fit and ready for the next leg of the Get Weird Tour!
Everyone’s favourite foursome travelled to Australia a few days ago and performed their first show of the Aussie leg in Brisbane on 12th May, although that was not before having a few days to top up their tans and splash about in the pool!
Time differences suck, as we all know, so we sadly, us non-Australian Mixers are going to have to get used to the girls performing at silly o’clock in our countries, which will probably be when most of us are at school or working. This will mean we won’t be able to spend the entirety of each concert of this leg of the tour refreshing our Twitter timelines in the hope that new photos and videos of the girls on stage will emerge, however, as soon as get the chance to, we will rush to check all forms of social media to catch up on all the goss from last night’s concert!
If the first show was anything to go by, this leg is going to be the leg of all legs. The girls have switched up their outfits, the setlist, the layout of the stage but every aspect of the show is still big, bold and beautiful, which you will only have to scroll through the #GetWeirdTourBrisbane hashtag to see for yourself.
Tonight, Leigh and Perrie rocked ponytails whilst Jesy and Jade went for loose waves. The girls pink and orange outfits have been altered to black and green and, also, songs such as ‘A.D.I.D.A.S,’ ‘OMG’ and ‘I Won’t’ have been removed from the setlist (don’t worry, we cried when we found out too).
However, the concert was still a huge success, with fans holding up posters which said ‘Get Weird or Go Home’ and them singing every word at the top of their lungs. Jesminda, Pez, Jeed and Leigh Leigh also looked happy as Larry, as they didn’t stop smiling, shaking their booties and joking around on stage. Its clear to see that they are glad to be back doing what they love doing for fans who love the band just as much as the band love them.
