So Little Mix have gone and made our weekend by releasing one of the most anticipated songs for their upcoming album, Get Weird, as a gift for everyone who has preordered it. The fab track is called ‘Grown’ and it’s a well nice collab with Jess Glynne, who helped the lasses write and make it one of their best yet. Happy Friday!
You may remember the song from this little behind the scenes snippet they teased us with:
Or from their cheeky performances at the Apple Music Festival:
And now, because they knew we were all dying for it, you get to experience to the studio version in full if you’ve preordered Get Weird!
Or, you know, you can give it a cheeky listen on Spotify, too.
According to actual real life Disney princess Jade Thirlwall, the song is a bit of a comeback at people who ignored them back at school:
“This song’s all about when you’re at school and you’re younger, and you really fancy someone but they want nothing to do with you, they don’t give you the time of the day. […] And then you blossom and they want a piece of you, and you’re like, you didn’t want it then, you can’t have it now!”
WONDERFUL. We know what we will be listening to all weekend. What d’ya reckon, then? Are you just as excited for the release of Get Weird as we are? Let us know!
